A USB webcam is a fine Jetson microphone
If you're already using a CSI camera for vision, the spare USB webcam is the easiest ALSA capture device you'll find.
On the desk assistant, the CSI camera is the primary vision input — which frees the Logitech C270 up entirely. It enumerates as ALSA card 0 and works as a capture device with zero configuration, and it's still there as a backup camera on /dev/video1.
Cheaper and less fiddly than a dedicated I²S mic board.
